Best emergency light
After having this light for at least 6 years it has out lived every battery flashlight I ever owned, the goalzero 250 charges up quickly and remains changed for days, it has multiple lights for emergencies or for just walking outside and the lights are extremely bright. In my opinion the goal zero 250 makes the goal zero 500 pale in comparison, the 500 light is yellow while the 250 is a constant bright light, the 500 has no emergency red blinking lights and no crank to add more ways for recharging. It is a shame that the manufacturer discontinued the production of this very good product. I do not recommend the goal zero 500 as it is a inferior product.

Great Flashlight or Floodlight
The crank is easy to use to charge the battery. Floodlight was useful on a boat at night. Flashlight was able to illuminate fish if they were at the water's surface. The light is large, so it's slightly clumsy to hold, but overall a great light.
