Strings do work - Granite Gear Air Compressor

I have several of these that use the 1/2" webbing for the cinch straps. This version uses the strings and I was concerned they may slip and let my sleeping bag swell. Turns the string version holds just fine. One thing that was annoying was the un-tangle process when you put the cinching cap back on, the strings inter-tangle alot more than the webbing version does. Just takes a few minutes longer, but still functional. In hindsight, I would just go back to the webbing, the saving in gram weight wasn't worth the untangle hassle.
