I'm a backcountry bowhunter, and this compresses my sleeping back just enough to fit into my pack just right. It's light, durable and just overall a great product.

Strings do work

I have several of these that use the 1/2" webbing for the cinch straps. This version uses the strings and I was concerned they may slip and let my sleeping bag swell. Turns the string version holds just fine. One thing that was annoying was the un-tangle process when you put the cinching cap back on, the strings inter-tangle alot more than the webbing version does. Just takes a few minutes longer, but still functional. In hindsight, I would just go back to the webbing, the saving in gram weight wasn't worth the untangle hassle.

light and easy

The medium fit my sleeping bag really well.
Had some tangling with the strings.
Light, but I don't think it's waterproof.
