Most Helpful Positive Review Excellent alternative to regular stuff sacks
I have several of these in different sizes. Getting ready to order one more. Much easier to access contents. Rectangular shape packs better. Been using them since they came out. Only one caveat: They are not waterproof. The seams will leak (can be sealed with silicone) and the zippers are water resistant, but not water proof. If they get dunked, you'll be OK, but leave hang your food bag out in the rain all night and the contents will get wet (ask me how I know). I line my food sack and my clothing sack with a turkey bag and problem is solved. I've replaced all my sacks with this style, except...

Solid bag for a variety of uses

by Lyle, from KY, United States Written on January 31, 2021
I own the 16L, 12L and 9L Air Zippsacks. I find the top zipper makes access to them very convenient. I use the 16L sack as a stuff sack for my 45 degree Thermarest Vesper. It fits in the 16L just right so that it is not over-compressed but yet is a nice, compact size for my 30L pack. The 12L is a nice size of a puffy and the 9L is great for spare clothes. Because of their lightweight and packability when filled, these bags would also be a good choice for items you pack for flying. The overall quality of construction is very high.

Love these sacks!!!

by Paul H., Verified Owner from NV, United States Written on December 19, 2015
I have a bunch of these and I like them a lot. They slide very easy into and out of your pack. I prefer the zipper to a draw string because I can see every thing in the sack without having to empty it. The light weight handle works great for pulling the sack out of your backpack. You can label the contents on outside if you don’t mind using a permenant marker, kitchen, first aid, etc. Granite Gear makes great stuff!!

Great for clothes and/or food

by All Right, Written on November 30, 2009
We put our clothes in the medium size bag which is large enough to store all that we need for thru hiking. Also we ordered an extra one to use to store our food and kitchen. It hangs easily on the bear ropes with a carabiner.
