Perfect for my Dog

I bought the medium for my dog that has a 29" chest, which is on the line between medium and large. Without having tried the large, I feel I made the eight decision. I packed it with enough food for 3-4 days, treats, bug spray, extra 16oz water, and it came up to 6-7 pounds.
