Awesome bag, used a few granite gear bags that were issued in the military and held up great against snowy mountains in California and Rocky Mountains in Afghanistan and had to get one for civilian use for hiking. Looked at a few minimalist frameless packs for ultralight thru hiking but decided on the GG for the price, removable frame, style, functions all with a reasonable weight. Very happy purchase and had a much better deal buying it on here compared to granite gears website during Black Friday sales

This is a lightweight backpack with good basic physique.
Reliable and flexible carrying system
But if necessary, it can also be used as a single-day backpack with the back panel and belt removed.
Simple, classic and practical bag design, it is very convenient for storage and retrieval under the condition of lightweight and simplified equipment;
Durable enough fabric with excellent water repellency;
The sum of the above factors makes it a very competitive product in the lightweight market.
Pros:
Lightweight
durable
Cons:
None
Best Used for:
Backpacking
hikeing
Would recommend: Yes

First hike with this pack was the White Mountain Presidential Traverse, 16 hours 8 peaks in one day. Pack was light, held up to rocky scrambles in the dark on the way down, gets sweaty in the back due to design, but okay tradeoff for less weight. Would like a few more dividers inside and outside pockets that enable you to reach water bottles without having to maneuver the pack or remove it. Overall a good purchase for the cost and recommended for those looking for a light day pack.
Pros:
Light and comfortable
Cons:
Outside pocket placement
Best Used for:
Day hike
Would recommend: Yes
