Grasshopper's Review of Granite Gear Crown2 60L Backpack
Simple, lightweight, and spacous! Make sure to measure your torso length to get a proper fit. Adjustable hip belts are very nice. Hip packs are large enough to store a fire kit or a whistle/ multitool, or a few snack bars. Water bottle pockets are huge and large enough to fit 2x 1L smartwater bottle's each. The brain capacity is enough for my poncho tarp, trowl, paracord, ti stakes, polycryo groundsheet, and leather gloves with room to spare. Room for days, I prefer to use a stuff sack for my 20° synthetic bag rather than deal with a compression bag. Very happy to find "OD" green or similar UL gear, im not a fan of wacky colors or hi-vis everything when out in the woods. Only con is that the buckle for the chest strap is a bit "sticky".
Pros:
Simple
Light, cheap, tactical colors
Cons:
Chest strap buckle
Best Used for:
UL hiking
Would Recommend:
Yes
