Overall, great backpack, but beware torso length - Granite Gear Crown2 HD 60L Pack

Zackery's Review of Granite Gear Crown2 HD 60L Pack
Just bought this last week, then promptly went on a 5 day 90 mile trip through the Wasatch mountains. Top has ample room for what I use it for, the belt was easily adjustable, and the belt pockets are a great size for items to access quickly. The front stretchy pocket was big enough for my 2 man tent, and the side packets are great as well. Nice durable fabric, so I never worried about setting it down or scraping trees and brush, and the waterproof finish was extra nice as I encountered plenty of weather, and the only water that ever got in, was my spilled 3L bladder (my fault) which fit nicely inside the interior pocket.
Now for my only complaint. I'm a 5'9" guy with an 18-19" torso length. I bought a regular (18-21") and felt like it was too short. With the belt super tight on my hips, there simply wasn't enough adjustment to keep the pack off my shoulders! I got a "killer deal" on the pack so I can't complain even if it becomes a pack for my wife or kids, but it was disappointing to have such tired and worn shoulders after the 5 days, so no 5 stars.
Pros:
material, durability, packability
Cons:
wears on shoulders
Best Used for:
Backpacking
