I bought the Jackfish about three months ago, couldn't be happier with my purchase. The dedicated laptop sleeve is roomy for my 17" MacBook pro with additional room for a book, magazines or notepad. The main compartment is a bit narrow, but can fit a couple changes of clothing easily. The external pockets work great. I use the Barrier pocket for my phone and other small items, and the upper external pocket for things like pens, charger and other assorted stuff. Great backpack for large laptops

I had a hard time finding a decent pack for my work computer and was fortunate to find this for a great price. Granite Gear quality for pennies on the dollar. My 15 inch plus laptop fits in the padded pocked with tons of room to spare which is a good thing as a new 17.3 inch computer is on its way. I keep coming back to Campsaver for the prices and coupons. If I had any complaints it would be the front-to-back depth of the main compartment. Mits a tad shallow if I ever want to carry a big stack of paperwork.

Great pack for day hikes

I'm still working up to longer treks so this backpack is my companion on day hikes. I like that it cools off fast and it does alright in my washing machine. It never rains in LA so I couldn't tell you how waterproof it is!

Awesome Pack!

So far I love this pack! I use it currently for college and I can fit everything I need with plenty of room still. Plus with the padded shoulders I don't have to worry about weight. The main compartment is plenty big and the smaller ones make organization and convenience easy. This pack has been great for my and I can't wait to take it out to the mountains.
