Incredibly light but at the same time provides great support. I purchased this backpack to hike across Europe so I need enough space for all my equipment but not too big and heavy. The Granite Gear Leopard provides both the size, light weight and at the same time is incredibly comfortable.

This pack is very light weight and comfortable for its load capacity. I think 30lbs is the max load you would like to carry with this pack. there are many straps on this pack, so you could cinch it really combact and keep the load closer to you back.
The only thing I do not like is that there is no hipbelt pocket.
Pros:
- Light weight, comfortable,
Best Used for:
- Ultralight backpacking
- backpacking,
- ultralight hikng

Overall pack is very comfortable while hiking with less than 25 pounds in it. I purchased the pack around $75 which is hard to beat for the quality of granite gear equipment. The only thing I wish the pack had was a pouch on the waste belt to put my cell phone into - other than that it's a very nice product, and I would recommend it.
Best Used for:
- Overnight and weekend hiking camps

I’ll be brief. I love everything about it! The pack has many compartments and adjustable straps to get everything just the way you like it. The pack is light and offers great support for long durations of use. I’m not an avid hiker, but I’d see this pack lasting a very long time. Highly recommended!

A bit smaller than expected but rides very comfortably. Plenty of ways to strap and secure gear, although I'm used to more pockets. Will make a great XC Ski day pack and a summer overnighter. Could not pass up the great deal on the price, best pack $ for $ that I've purchased.

Granite gear is my favorite backpack brand.
I live in Seoul. so I bought this pack by overseas purchase.
I was backpacking 20 km over the last weekend and I was very satisfied with the characteristics of the backpack.
There are useful 3 strap on side.
They hold the shape of the backpack tightly.
The top of the backpack is a roll top, which can hold more than the specified capacity.

I purchased this pack in order to do an overnight packraft trip, because the fast pack I had was too small and my old backpacking pack was too bulky. This thing easily fits my hammock setup and under quilt, clothes, stove and food, as well as all of my rafting gear (pfd, paddles, helmet). What I love about it is how well you can secure stuff to the outside of the pack. This thing is built like a tank. The molle system on the back and the hip belt gives me options to add even pouches for even more storage.

It's also pretty great for long day hikes if you need to carry a significant amount of layers, food, etc., but definitely overkill for anything under a half day.
Quality and comfort are great. The features are pretty simple, but everything you would want and expect.

I love the light weight of the pack as well as the quality build. I can't wait to get out and use it! The purchase from campsaver and the timeliness of shipping couldn't have been any better.

I am trying to downsize my pack. I usually haul around a 65L pack. I dont mind it but I always end up bringing too much. I bought a gregory zulu 40 pack last fall but i used it once and although I love all the pockets and the trampoline back but I dont like that its too small on my back and isnt long enough to rest on the top of my arse so all the weight doesnt get evenly distributed and cuts off in the middle of my back. OUCH! Also the top (brain) isnt adjustable so I can't overflow it. I bought this Leopard 46 when it was on sale. i paid 70.00 so I figured if it didnt work out it wasnt a huge loss. But I am very happy with it so far. I love how light it is and it fits me much better. I am curious about how well this frame will support a load. It's just made of a plastic sheet. I filled it with about 50 lbs of books and ran around the block and my back seems fine. I wont be able to tell until summer when I am sweating profusely. That was the nice thing about the trampoline style but you cant have it all and I am not going to complain about a pack that costed almost 3 times less than my GF's pack and half of the gregory. I think this was the deal of the century! :)
