Most Helpful Negative Review Just an okay pack
Lots to like about the pack; but, still has some things I don't like. I like the overall pocket arrangement, the double pockets on the belt, and the built-in rainfly. I don't like that the handle at the top of the pack is way too small and doesn't leave much room to get your hand in and around. I don't like the back pad (it's too flimsy). A standard 3L camelback bladder doesn't reach the bottom of the pack when installed on the provided Velcro loop latch. This creates a weird void space under the bladder in the main pocket. Great Day Pack

I used this pack out in Glacier National Park for day hikes and it was the perfect size with a lot of comfort. Completely Adjustable.

Great, versatile pack

This is an excellent day pack - lots of pockets, versatile utility with the removable hipbelt, and sharp looking. The only issue is durability. I've had the backpack for two months and a hole is already developing in one of the side pockets - this seems to be a recurring theme with Granite Gear packs. Luckily it is still small enough that no function is lost, and perhaps it can be patched before it becomes a larger problem.

A peasant suprise

I have never used any Granite Gear equipment before purchasing this pack. I will say that the pack is very well designed and quite well made. It is also very comfortable on my long torso. I wanted a pack of about this size for trail maintenance projects as well as general use as a day pack, but now that I know how nice it is I'll probably use it for some ultralight over night trips this summer as well.
I recently purchased a multi-day pack from another manufacturer, which is a good pack, but I'm seriously considering selling it and getting another, larger Granite Gear pack.

Great Day Pack

Another great Granite Gear pack. Perfect size for longer day hikes. Really like the removable hip belt feature. As with all GG packs, carries very nice, almost forget it is on.

Very happy with my recent purchase. The pack is amazing and exactly what I wanted. Perfect size for a couple day hike with plenty of space and compartments. Was shipped quickly and arrived on time. Would order again.

Not as pictured

The bag I received had no white detailing; the colors overall were dull and ugly. The straps sit on the shoulders in such a way as to be very uncomfortable on the neck and collar bone.
