Granite Gear Virga 26
This is a minimalist pack for ultralight use and as such it is excellent.
The materials are of very good quality (cordura, high tenacity nylon), and workmanship is excellent. I chose the brilliant blue/moonmist in color which a very nice subdued color that blends well with all kinds of surroundings.
I bought this pack because I like GG and also because I have the first generation of this pack called Virga that was sadly discontinued by GG. In comparison, the first gen. Super light, no load panel
I have used this for a weekend hiking. This pack is super light weight, there is no load panel or other suspension system. So this is a soft pack, you need to pack your stuff very well so that give some support. The good thing is that the compression straps on this pack is designed great, which help you compress the pack very well. It could only load no more than 25 pounds as my experience. It is good for ultra light weight hiking.
The fabric is very thin. No top tip.
