I purchased the Denali Pro 105 backpack last spring, not knowing that it was being discontinued. I am nevertheless glad that I did, although it means that certain parts might not be available in the near future, such as the shoulder harness and hipbelt. Anyone reading this review probably is aware of the extraordinary durability of the Denali Pro backpack; it's a product that will last a lifetime for most people, carry lots of weight comfortably, and I purchased it with this in mind. While I don't know whether I will ever need these, if there is anything that would likely require replacement down the road--way down the road--it would be the hipbelt and shoulder harness due to the effects of compression over time. So I bought them, am glad that I did, and highly recommend that others do too.
