I took several day hikes in Glacier National Park ranging from 5 to 10 miles each. This pack was so well balanced and ventilated that I stayed cool and had no residual aches and pains. I broke my left collarbone many years ago and it often aches when wearing a backpack but I had no pains from this one. The only problem I had was the top zipper was so tight (Not enough fabric in the front flap) tha
