KJH's Review of Gregory Jade 33L Daypack - Women's
I have the Jade 63L that I've used to hike The Enchantments and I love it. So when I was in the market for a new, all-season day pack, I bought the Jade 33L to use for winter hiking (and to fit the gear that comes along with snow and rain in PNW) and to also use for overnight hikes in the summer.
I've used this pack for 2 snowy day hikes thus far and I have zero complaints. Holds everything I need it to with room to spare. I cinch up the bag once it's packed and it looks and feels like a 28L or smaller. It's INCREDIBLY comfortable (I'm 5'5, moderate torso size, big breasted, and the small is a perfect fit), the trampoline frame keeps my back from overheating, there's a slot on the strap to slip your sunglasses through and clasp on the other strap for your hydration pack tube for easy access. The pockets on the waist belt hold snacks and could fit a phone.
I haven't used it yet for an overnight hike, but with a buddy or two to split the equipment with (tent, kitchen gear, etc), I suspect this size will be perfect. If you're looking for a carry on-sized pack for traveling aboard, this would be a perfect option.
