I have the Jade 63L that I've used to hike The Enchantments and I love it. So when I was in the market for a new, all-season day pack, I bought the Jade 33L to use for winter hiking (and to fit the gear that comes along with snow and rain in PNW) and to also use for overnight hikes in the summer.
I've used this pack for 2 snowy day hikes thus far and I have zero complaints. Holds everything I need it to with room to spare. I cinch up the bag once it's packed and it looks and feels like a 28L or smaller. It's INCREDIBLY comfortable (I'm 5'5, moderate torso size, big breasted, and the small is ...

The Gregory Jade 33 is a very convenient travel backpack. It is made easier to use compared to other brands of backpacks. If you don't put a lot of stuff in the backpack, it doesn't look that big, but when you're traveling for more than one night, everything you need fits in this backpack at once.
And the double-locking sunglasses holder is very useful and hope it will never disappear from Gregory in the future.

I'm headed to Nepal in February and was looking for a women's specific pack. This Gregory 33 Jade was the perfect fit. I love the easy access hip zip pockets for stashing lip balm or hard candy while hiking. There is also a handy place to hang your sunglasses on one of the chest straps if you find the trail you're hiking is longer than anticipated and the sun dips below the horizon!
The main compartment is accessed from the top only so you'll need to stow stuff your not using right away at the bottom and work your way up. There's two stretchy side pockets for Nalgene bottles and another compartment on the front that holds the included rain cover. The fold over top pocket is large enough to hold snacks, keys, gloves or whatever you need to access in a hurry. This pack is also water bladder compatible.
This pack also has an awesome suspension and lumbar support which makes a huge difference when carrying heavier loads. I could probably load this pack up with my 1 man tent, thermarest and sleeping bag and do an over nighter in Grand Canyon!
Great pack!
