This is a high quality day pack that’s comfortable and looks great. I got the “flame black” color, but the color description is inaccurate. The color is gray as it is evident from the photos, and I prefer the gray much more than black. I use the 3L water bladder (sold separately) from Gregory and the hook on the bladder functions well with this backpack to hold it in place. I wish the water compartment was a bit more stretchy so I can squeeze in another water bladder with electrolyte. I had to work hard to squeeze in my 2.5L electrolyte bladder, but was able to get it into the water bladder compartment. I used each of the mouthpieces on each shoulder strap and they were easy to drink. Love the pockets and the sunglasses strap, the emergency whistle on the chest strap click buckle, as well as the ventilation on the back. A few small gripes that I have with this backpack: (1) It would have been better if a waterproof cover was provided along with the backpack (2) if there was a better way to hook the trekking poles without having to remove the backpack, that would’ve been great. The osprey daypack has this (3) the shoulder straps are at a slight angle, and was a bit uncomfortable on the front of my right shoulder: the edge of the strap rests on the front of my shoulder and it feels like it may chafe. I think this is an issue that will go away once I break in the backpack. Time will tell. 4.5/5 stars.
Pros:
- functional
- breathable back panel
- Comfort , weight, great looks
- Waist pockets
Cons:
- No Rain Cover
- Need to remove daypack for putting trekking poles on/off

Lots of room for rain gear, extra layers, and food. The waist belt pockets are great for smaller items you want quick access to. All it needs to be perfect is another loop so I can more easily carry my poles.
Cons:
- needs another loop to attach poles

I needed just a bit more than my 20L day pack and this with its outside water bladder space gives me a LOT more room. Straps are not quite as comfortable as my Deuter but still solid. This is great for long day hike or overnight and big enough for when i want to travel carryon only, it'll fit under the seat. Wish they'd make this type of bag with a front access to main compartment.
Pros:
- Storage
- Space, support, external bladder
Would recommend: Yes

I am not a gear junkie like a lot of people, but, I wanted to upgrade my daypack. I did some research, found this highly recommended and bought it. I used it for the first time this weekend and I loved it. It has a useful, intuitive layout and evenly distributes the weight. Well worth the extra money. Life is too short to hike with a crappy pack. I wish I had bought it years ago.
