Great pack - Recommended!
I am a male 5'11, 155 pounds, athletic build.
I have the L version of this pack (48L) I've gone on several multi day backpacking trips with this pack (up to 6 days) and don't let yourself be fooled by the 48L of this backpack; there is plenty of room for everything.
On my first trip I had to carry 2 days worth of water for the first couple of days before getting to my first water supply, and I have to say that the water in addition to the gear and 6 days worth of food, got a little bit too heavy on my shoulders. Great weekend pack
An excellent pack
It has a bottom opening, pad straps, solar panel loops, side cinch straps that hold the water bottles, a floating lid with big pockets inner and outer, the back stretch pocket is a good size with a cinch

It combines good volume, reasonable empty-weight and lots of comfort. Carries moderate loads with the extras I need for winter hikes, great fit and comfort

Very nice Gregory backpack for great price. I use it for long day hike but can be use for overnight backpaking as well.I have few Gregory backpack and they are all great backpack. I would buy aniother one if there's another color.

Best 45 still
This pack has it all. Its got big pockets and is built tough. Its a 45 that can carry 65l worth if you need it too. Lots of gear loops daisy chains pockets in a bullet proof fabric. Going ultra light can be overboard so dont skimp on a pack!

Great bag, but. . .
I've been putting this bag in use for the past 2 weeks during my long term travel and it serves every single purpose. Do not let the size fool you, you can fit way more than you think. The material can also seem somewhat misleading and low quality, but it's very resistant. Mine has already been thrown, dragged, and pulled improperly, and its only scars are composed of dirt but no break/rip.
The bag has a perfect combination of big and hidden pockets which make it convenient for different uses. I do wish the bag had a side zipper to avoid pulling all my stuff out if I'm looking for an item that was originally placed in the middle or can't be accessed through the bottom compartment. It is because if this minor detail, but the bag sure deserves all the recognition possible.
