Love this pack
Bought a new one of the same model because I used my old one so much over the past 5 years in finally crapped out! Very comfortable and very durable. I'm not personally a fan of "brains" on such a small pack so I like that this has a zip closure.

Comfortable, lightweight and functional
Very comfortable and lightweight daypack. Well thought out with great functional features.
Materials and finishing are top quality. The shoulder strap feel great and the frame system keeps your back cool even in warmer temps.
Highly recommend.

Great backpack
Have an old Z series 35L Gregory pack for more than 10 years that started showing its age after taking a lot of abuse every year. Wanted a new backpack for alpine overnights, and preferably one that keeps the back ventilated.
The Zulu 35 is very well made, but feels less sturdy than the old Z35 - guess because lighter materials were used. The total effective carrying capacity is a bit less than the old Z35 probably due to the tensioning frame that makes space between your back and the pack. Enough space for rain gear, sleeping bag, few changes of clothes and food. Probably a small tent can be fitted in too - my classic igloo 3 persons marmot was to big to fit properly, mainly due to the curvature of the back frame.
I am 186 cm tall /6'1" and the medium was riding up on my back despite having the torso measurements within the medium sizing. Ended up returning and getting a large size.

Pros:
- Ventilated Back Panel
- Light
- zipper access to main compartment
- good quality materials and sewing
Cons:
- None

Comfortable Pack
It’ll work for a short overnight or weekend. I can sinch down the compression straps for day hiking. It works as a carry on. Most of all, it is supremely comfortable. The bottom doesn’t billow out like a lot of packs. This keeps the weight right where it should be.

A Grand Pack for The Grand Canyon
Was perfect for a day hike, rim to rim. Plenty of room for food & water while in the canyon, plus clothes for a couple days on the other side. Convenient pockets made it easy to access essentials.

Be careful about size
I have yet to try it, but I noticed after having removed the tags that these packs actually come in two sizes: regular and large. I didn't notice this when I ordered and received a large. I'm not sure yet if this the right size for me.
The pack looks excellent.

Super Impressed
My package arrived very quickly, even for living in the same state. The pack itself is comfortable and fits well. I love that it's both a top and front loader and has a lot of storage. I'm excited to start using it this summer.
