Terrible pack poor quality materials - Gregory Zulu 40L Daypack

This is a terribly made pack. Do not get this. After a few months, I already have a few tears in the bag side pockets, and tears in the base, all from hiking trips where all I do is carry the bag, put it on the ground... that is it... wasn't even dragging it around. They should label this bag for use indoors , not outdoors. What really is useless is that the base of the pack which should be strong or tough but it isn't and that probably resulted in tears..
Gregory packs do not have a great warranty, you have to ship your pack to a repair shop for them to assess the damage and by then you are out of pocket for the shipping costs back and forth. If they determine it is not in the warranty, you have to pay out of pocket for the repair... with all these costs, I might as well pay for a whole new pack from a better brand. What a bad experience for my first Gregory pack
