This is a terribly made pack. Do not get this. After a few months, I already have a few tears in the bag side pockets, and tears in the base, all from hiking trips where all I do is carry the bag, put it on the ground... that is it... wasn't even dragging it around. They should label this bag for use indoors , not outdoors. What really is useless is that the base of the pack wh... Read more

I bought this bag a few weeks ago, and I made the right choice. The zipper access to the main compartment is better than any other bag I've owned. This is my first Gregory, all of my other packs are Osprey, I will definitely look at Gregory in future pack purchases. The side pockets are great for larger water bottles, I can't wait to see how well it holds up.

I got this backpack ahead of my trip to Europe. This backpack held up nicely and was just the right size to be considered as a carry-on even for a budget airline like Wow. The interior is nice and spacious and managed to hold multiple massive bottles of beer I picked up in Belgium along with all of my clothes/toiletries/etc. If you use the straps, it disperses the weight quite ... I've only had it on 1 hour test hikes, but so far so good. Honestly it's hard to find a really bad pack from the major makers like Osprey, Gregory and Deuter, but they sure do make a wide variety. I needed a pack in the 30 to 40 L size range for a hut to hut walk. I walked around a couple of different stores with several different packs (with weight), and ultimately decided thi... Read more

Awesome pack! It's most comfortable packs I've owned, The pack straps and waist belt are really comfortable. Plenty of room to use this pack for many different outdoor activities. 40 liters is just the right size for a 2-3 day hike,

great backpack. just bot it so cant speak to its endurance tho materials seem fine. shoulder and waist straps are nicely padded. weight distributes nicely across shoulders and waist. front access pocket useful for this toploader. overall great backpack, comfortable to wear, well thought out design, would highly recommend.
This is purely preference at this point. The small might feel slightly more nimble than the medium. It also might tug more at your shoulders than the medium. You will get more volume with the medium by 2-3 litres Let us know if you have any additional questions.
You can find the sizing information between the three packs here: https://cs1.0ps.us/pdf/opplanet-gregory-sizing-chart-pdf.pdf
The large will be 42L, medium 40L, and small 38L. Let us know if you have any additional questions.
