Great quality

Great axe for beginners. Great quality. Grvel’s gzero ice axe is easy to use for all kinds of hikers when it comes to snow. Light weight, strong and with the cushion padding that comes with it, it is really a bargain for an basic ice axe.

Strong and lite piolet

I just used this product on the Ptarmigan Traverse in the Cascades, and it preformed flawlessly. I'm six foot tall and it was the perfect size. I left the hand guard behind, but wished I didn't when fear made me grip it a bit tightly.
Pros:
  • Strong and well built
Cons:
  • The leash is not load bearing
Best Used for:
  • Snow and ice conditions
