Light weight, and winter capable

by B. Giron, Verified Owner from CA, United States Written on March 22, 2020
I was looking for a winter stove without having to go with liquid fuel. Works great when inverting the canister, just make sure you have it on low when you flip it. It howls like a rocket once you go inverted.
Pros:
  • Ultra light for remote canister
Cons:
  • None
Best Used for:
  • Backpacking

compact and easy on fuel.

by Dennis, Written on May 12, 2017
I am not sure why this stove is not more popular There is not many reviews of it and the pictures of it that you see do not show how small it folds up. This stove will fit in my toaks 700 ml cup with a 4 oz fuel canister and a mini bic lighter. It is also very easy on fuel consumption. It only uses 2 tenths of an oz of fuel to boil 2 cups of water. Most of my other stoves use 3 or 4 tenths of fuel to de the same thing. It is also very wide and stable when unfolded and is easily protected by a wind screen. The build quality is also very good and it has good cold weather performance. The only possible down side for some will be its 6 oz weight. All things considered I give it five stars.
