I bought this to lighten the load for extended length horse treks, as a replacement for a steel pan. This frypan survived harsh campfire use cooking bannock, pancakes or bacon. I used a wooden spoon and avoided getting it super hot, but it survived incredibly well. Now it's black except the nonstick inside. Bit working as good ad ever. I used less oil cooking with this and it spread the heat evenly better! than my old pan. It's still too heavy for climbing or hiking trips but will be a great asset on hunting or fishing trips.
