I have three of GSI's nested back pack cooksets that have the pinnacle coatings and all I can say is these skillets are just as good as all of those. In fact better since these are a bit thicker so you don't get that littel dimple that rises up in the center of the pan as they heat up. These showed zero warpage from heat.
The coating is so good that you may find them "to" slip... Read more

This pan is very deep and has a large flat bottom. Handles the heat eventually like no other. It's folding handle makes it pack small. Wish I found this pan sooner. Used 5 different other brands and they don't compete with this pan.

This is my second 10" GSI frying pan. The first one lasted about 10 years of pretty hard use. They have a relativley thick bottom so that the heat distributes evenly and they do not warp. This new one is supposedly more durable, but only time will tell. Works great on a stove or campfire as long as you don't get the handle too hot. Just wish that they were a little lighter.
