I am an avid backpacker. I enjoy a good outdoor meal or a hot cup of coffee on the trail. I have purchased several GSI Outdoors Telescoping utensils for its compact size. They are inexpensive, so I've added a set of utensils to each of my cooksets. When collapsed, it fits into a very small 12 oz. cup. Perfect for an ultralight cookset. I like spoons a lot better than sporks. I've tried the MSR folding spoon and the Jetboil sliding spoon and like this one the best. The GSI spoon is lighter and the handle is the perfect length for me. It is small enough to fit inside my mug. The MSR and Jetboil both have longer handles which you would need if you are using a deep pot (like the Jetboil).
