light. solid. durable.

these skis are dope. Have a bit of rocker and are light as hell. Will say, I do not think I have skied these in conditions in which they will shine brightest (corn). I also want to ski them in some actual powder..not wind affected or heavy solar affected fresh. But read below for my 2cents so far:

Done two goes with them on Mt. Hood, riding down from top of the Hogsback around 10800 to timberline at 6000--a lot of variable conditions. First time was dust and proto-chicken head icy crust--they functioned well-how pleasant is crust anyways? Way more energy at the top and way faster, and the skis functioned great to get me down. Second time was more variable--we had a few inches of fresh and heavy solar affected snow on a crust, wind-packed powder, icy sections, fresh on top of breakable crust, and heavy solar affected fresh snow, then fairly torn up mank in the resort at the end of the day (that skied fun). I will say for me as a non-expert skier, these were challenging conditions. Sure I got down without falling and had some fun turns, but these skis really zapped my energy on the down vs if I had my wider/longer/heavier skis.

two observations: my heavier skis really can help gloss over some of my skiing deficiencies as they seem to give a little more power in variable conditions and don't get thrown around. however when I screw up, i'm more likely to eat it.

The lighter Cirrus ski seems to require a lot more of me in terms of my attention and driving--to me at least ...
