Most Helpful Positive Review "Micro" more so than "mini"
An air show convinced me to look further into portable seating, and Helinox of course is a known name. That said, I wanted to minimize my carry volume, and I also didn't want to spend $100. The Chair One Mini isn't reviewed too much for adult use, so I figured I'd add my two cents. First, it's mu...

Most Helpful Negative Review Incorrect weight capacity
The description of the chair was that it could hold up to 265 pounds. It broke the first time my son used it. He is not even CLOSE to 265 pounds! His weight doesn’t even begin with a “2”! I would only buy it for small children.

Great kid’s chair

by Giftgiverr, from NJ, United States Written on January 9, 2022
It is very lightweight(a little more than 1lbs) & in an easy-to-carry quality pouch. It fits a 4 yr old boy very nicely. But it also can accomodate up tp 200lbs. It weghs almost as light as Chair Zero. Very lightweight, good quality, very satisfied.
Pros:
  • Lightweight & less pricey than other models
Cons:
  • None
Best Used for:
  • Small kids, travel
Would recommend: Yes

small, ultra-light

by z, Verified Owner from OR, United States Written on April 26, 2021
This is my 2nd Hellinox Mini chair. First was stolen. It's so light, that I decided to buy another one to take to my backpacking trips. Material is study.
The chair is small, so pick where you sit, and keep your feet on the ground. Not the most stable, but acceptable for the weight.
Pros:
  • Light
Cons:
  • None
Best Used for:
  • Backpacking
Would recommend: Yes

Just what I needed

by Hiker gurl, from MI, United States Written on July 19, 2020
Light weight and functional. It looks super fragile, but my husband and I both were able to fit in and use this chair. I love how easy it is to fold it down and packs perfectly in the pocket of my bag. After 3 uses we are extremely happy with it.
Pros:
  • Light weight, packs and folds down easily, fits anywhere
Cons:
  • Seems fragile
Best Used for:
  • HIKING

Really so light

by JK, Verified Owner from Taiwan Written on June 2, 2019
It is amazing the chair's weight. It is so light and supports so heavy.
Although this chair is for child, The adult can sit on it if you ignore the uncomfortable feeling.
My two little kids like these chair so much.
Now I also interest in the chair zero.

Light weight and packable, perfectly sized for small kids

by Great for kids, from MO, United States Written on August 28, 2018
I bought this for my 4 year old daughter. It's just the right size for her, and it's light enough that she can carry it on her own pack. It's easy to set up and pack up. No need for an engineering degree or an innate origami talent to get it back in the bag.
