Helinox cot lite - Helinox Cot Lite

I wanted a lite weight cot for my Tipi tent for backpacking with my dog. This was the lightest one I could find and at a great price through campsaver. I weight about 200lbs and about 5' 9" so was worried about this cot that creaked when I tested it at home. It held up on my first trip for a couple nights great and I stopped worrying about it whether a single knee, arm, or sitting down on it like a chair. I brought an air mattress with me which probably wasn't needed, but just in case. This did not work so well since I was on a slight slant which made me slide between the two. The cot is also pretty short when it comes to height and width, but that is to be expected from a cot that weighs less then 3lbs. Overall I am happy with my purchase, because the cot does what I wanted it to. Despite other reviews I read it isn't very hard to put together, but does require some strength to get the legs attached.
Pros:
durable
Lite weight
Cons:
slick while using an air pad
Arm strength needed
Would Recommend:
Yes
