Most Helpful Positive Review Ultra Compact
This chair packs small and light. Perfect for bike camping. The comfort was decent but extended sits caused some discomfort but I wouldn't expect it to be a perfect lounge chair. Like the grey color with black poles. The quality of material is top notch.

Worth the weight penalty

I had the opportunity to use one of these chairs in the Boundary Waters last week. It was very comfortable and I would recommend it. I am a big guy (6'5" - 260) and my only complaint would be that the feet dig in very easily causing it to slip off balance occasionally. You can purchase the larger feet or make a light weight alternative with ping pong balls if you are into DIY.

This chair rocks!

Believe it or not I am getting away from lightweight backpacking and back into heavy. I was tired of sitting on the ground and dealing with crappy sleeping pad chair contraptions. This chair is light enough, quite comfortable, and looks to be more durable than most car camping chairs. I will most likely be bringing it along on day trips to the mountains as well, since it is so small there is no reason not to have a chair.

As comfortable as a chair 5 times its weight.

This "little" chair has more than met my expectations. I now have a comfortable and dry place to sit that fold up smaller than my sleeping bag (still need to remedy that). The Helinox Tactical Chair easily holds my 100+ kg body as comfortably as my larger camping chairs. The only trick is keeping it away from my fellow campers. :-)

Indispensable Outdoor Companion

Excellent companion at outdoor events - assembly is fast and fuss-free. Provides instant and handy seat for tired feet. Lightweight yet strong and sturdy.

Have used the helinox tactical chair at the beach and at a family BBQ. It has become a conversation piece that generates excited interactions and approving nods.
