This product is very light and packable. HH has looked into the finest insulation per weight and all of the features of the jacket are well thought out. I use this jacket for backcountry skiing but it could be used for light touring and other winter outdoor activities that require heavy movement in the winter. Jacket is a mid-layer during activity- not to substitute a down puffy while stagnant.
