The hammock is fantastic. It's a comfortable sleep and sets up quickly if you use the hennessey lashing method. Many have their own methods for stringing up a hammock and those will work also. The material felt durable and after my initial hesitation, startes to feel that it would take any puncture or tear would ne deliberate. This is tough material. Does not come with stakes for the tarp or hammock and does not come with snake skins, as to be expected. Both are worthy addons.

The bug net seems solid. Not much is small enough to get through and the guy line keeps it far above you during the night.

The only downsidea is that the tarp is small. It's large enough to cover the entire hammock but won't really provide a bunch of protection if weather turns bad. It'll block a light rain and some sun. Not sure how it works under hotter weather.

All in all I love this thing. Great purchase

For my first hammock, I am well pleased, and I got a great deal on it.

I think zip model is more comfortable than classic model.

Summary- This is Hennessy's "entry level" system. If you are all picky about your kit than upgrade to one of their other models. Spend a little time researching the options and you will be much happier.
The Good-
I really like the "classic" entrance. It is easy to get in and out and you can get under the tarp rather rubbing up against it.
The construction is excellent.
It is a very comfortable way to sleep
The Not So Good-
I purchased because it was on sale and a super inexpensive way to try out hammock camping. It is complete - Hammock, Bug net, Tarp, Straps, but you will want to upgrade most of the pieces immediately. The straps are too short. The tarp is very small. Doesn't include the Snake Skins. The "classic" design is not very under quilt friendly so you will want to all the SuperShelter kit. If I did it again, I would buy it direct from Hennessy, you get snake skins and you can customize the components to suit your location and camping style.
So far, one week after initial purchase my upgrades have run about $150 and I am still waiting on the bigger tarp which will be another $130.

I can't believe how good of a deal I got on this amazing hammock!! Can't wait to use it all Summer!

As a first time to be Appalacian Trail hiker made the decision to use a hammock rather than a tent. I put it up in our back yard and I think it was the right decision.

Camp saver was great and I got a coupon and everything. However I misunderstood the product. I thought the mosquito netting was removable. It isn't, but other than that it is perfect and everything is rainbows and unicorns!

Found a great hammock for my family members and it was shipped in time for gifting. I wish I had realized there were possible accessories that it needed. Perhaps the webmasters could have suggestions to purchase with items on the store page.
