Must have for skiers
I've had such a hard time finding warm mittens for my kids. These are warm, have a stiff cuff that easily stays over jacket cuffs, and removable liner. Not sure if they are truly waterproof though I did use the waterproofing sealer. The leather needs to be cared for or your child's palms will be wet. I wish the adjustable wrist snap was larger- we have to open it completely every time the mitten goes on and off.

Heli mitts
My 4 year old son skied I'm minus 2 degrees Fahrenheit with these and didn't get cold fingers! He used a liner and hand warmers but did great. I recommend them. I'm getting a pair for myself.

great warm gloves
i have small hands so i thought i'd try these kids gloves because 1) they had a larger strip of leather on back of glove than their adult counterpart & 2) they were a little cheaper. i tried largest size which are only the slightest bit small- fingers extend to ends, handcuff elastic is fairly snug, & strap just barely closes, but i kept them. the white leather does get dirty- at least for riding on the back of motorcycle. they are pretty warm but i also add a thin dress leather smart glove underneath. cuffs are a little stiff where velcro attaches liners to gloves, but not noticeable when wearing. gauntlet fits nice over my jacket sleeves, not too long like some past gloves. handcuffs are great so i can never drop or have a glove fly away. thought about re-doing the cinching strap, but they work fine even when i don't close them. i like them, & may order again.
