Great shoes, they are very light and have incredible griping capability. I have not been jogging in them yet but will try them out later this week. Great color and the size was about right. If you wear a thick sock the shoe becomes tight.

Wonderful for hiking and backpacking!

Loved the Speedgoat 4! They are my first pair of Hoka shoes, wonderful for hiking and backpacking! Great traction, light weight, and easy on the joints on downhills. I feel like I'm cheating a bit when running now whether on road or on trail. They are light but amazingly effective at providing relief when running. I'm sold moving forward this brand is my new running shoe.

5th pair of SG4

I keep 2 pairs of these in a steady rotation. I run about 40-50 miles per week on trails. While I love the Torrent, the Speed Goat 4 have more cushion. I definitely would not be able to run as much as I am without these shoes!

Good size and good quality

The midsole is thick and has good resilience, anti-slip cushioning effect is also very good, and the foot feels very good, very suitable for cross-country running, and daily commuting wear. I recommend these shoes

Great cushion

The cushion is great and the wide version is fit to my feet that used to wear Altra. I just trail run for 50km and the cushion help my heel stay comfortable. The mega grip work well as usual. I guess the breathability can be better.

Great traction & light weight trail shoes

Love Hoka One One! Loved the Speedgoat 4! They are my favorite Hoka trail running shoes and didn't disappoint!
I love this shoes and is my 3rd SG, started from SG3,They are light but amazingly effective at providing relief when running.
Also wonderful for hiking and backpacking! Great traction, light weight, and easy on the joints on downhills.

Hoka Speedgoat 4

The Hoka Speedgoat 4 is a good shoe but I like the older speedgoat models better. Not sure why Hoka changed the design to a new less padded shoe tongue. The older model is great and the padding is much better. This shoe is good for hiking and walking and working out at the gym.

Hoka speedgoat trail shoe

This is my second pair of hoka's and this one is even more comfortable than the first. It's like walking on a cloud which is especially good for someone my age (72) as they are very easy on your joints and enable me to cover more distance on the trail. I highly recommend them.

Hoka Speedgoat 4

Thought i would try a different trail shoe, so did some research, read reviews and bought these Hoka's. Hiked in them today for the first time and couldn't be more disappointed. Felt like i was hiking in bedroom slippers, no support, no stability and balance was off. Yes, they cushion the feet, but that's all i'll give them! For 10 years i have been wearing Salomon XA Pro 3D trail shoes and they are so superior in comparison, wish i had sent these back when they first arrived and i walked in the house with them. Best i would be willing to rate these is a 3 star rating and that is generous. The salomon's i give a solid 5 star rating.

Really comfortable walking shoe.

This is my first purchase of a Hoka brand shoe. When I tried this on and walked around, I was amazed how comfortable the shoes were to walk around in. It was like walking on a a pillow. Not sure about durability yet.
