Quality cutting tool.
The hatchet head is extremely sharp and has a consistent grind that should aid in maintaining he cutting edge. The forging marks give the hatchet a one-of-a-kind look and feel. The handle fit and finish are very good and secure. The leather belt sheath is excellent and attractive. I expect to get many years of reliable service from this tool.

Exceptional Tool
I have owned a Hults Bruk (HB) Akka Forest Axe for several years and it has served me well backpacking as well as camping with the family. I presently own another hatchet but decided to upgrade to the HB Almike due to my experience with the axe. Like all Hults Bruk tools this hatchet stands out with its exceptional quality and craftsmanship. As a guy who maintains razor edges on all my tools I have always been pleased that the HB line comes sharp out of the box!

Not worth the price..
IMHO,the overall quality of the Hults marked Axes is NOT worth the asking price.Compared to the Wetterlings or Gransfors Bruks for the same or less $$, the Hults axes have too many blade alignmed and forging issues .I returned mine.
