HybridLight Journey Solar Flashlight/Charger 250 Lumens

We purchased several HybridLights for our earthquake kit a few years back and really like them. Never having to worry about turning on a flashlight only to find out the batteries are drained is a huge plus. They do lose a TINY bit of power so I charge them at daylight saving time as a check. In an ER situation, we can charge by sun which we have tried and found to work... it’s slower but works. The option to charge cell phone or use USB light bulbs from the USB outlet expands use of flashlight. This year we purchased 9 HybridLight Journey flashlights as an additional Christmas gifts for our ‘late 20/early 30’ kids (and spouses). We suggested theyconsider keeping them in the car (They do not lose extra charge from this). The kids all live in the Midwest and lose power occasionally... they Thought the gift was a good one. They are aware we purchased them from CampSaver on sale (after research) and if they share their email address, they will get an additional 10% discount. The purchase was much less expensive this way then purchasing direct from manufacturer.
Pros:
floats
Holds charge (confirmed by 2 yr use)
has USB for charging cell, using USB light bulbs
Cons:
A bit large for car glove compartment but every car/house should have one
Best Used for:
Emergency kit
Would recommend: Yes
