Most Helpful Positive Review Excellent lightweight and durable daypack
I am extremely pleased with the quality of this pack. It is very simple in design and appearance, as the relatively high cost is related to the quality of the materials and construction. I highly recommend both the Hyperlight Daybreak and CampSaver.

Once you hand on this bag, you know it's tough
for this weight ratio, I can't see you can find any bag to beat this one
design is simple but pay attention to details and work great
it is definitely a great day bag and serve as a urban backpack too
it seems you can load anything inside without worry coz it is really built solid
and it makes you feel safe for the waterproofness the design n material provided
Pros:
  • light but strong structure
  • large enough for day hike or urban
  • waterproof design
Cons:
  • would be great if have a option for water blade house outlet
Best Used for:
  • Day hike
  • urban

desert island backpack

by clock, from CA, United States Written on November 8, 2017
I almost overlooked this pack because it seemed like an expensive version of something very common - a medium sized black daypack with some bottle holders and stretchy pocket. It only took one use to realize this is the most well specced and versatile pack I've ever used. The material is something from outer space - lightweight, burly, collapses down or fills out as needed. I can toss it around in the dirt then rinse it all clean in the shower and take it traveling. The side pockets fit a Nalgene perfectly, and I can even grab the bottle in and out without taking the pack off my shoulders. I've seen mixed reviews of people claiming this can't be done, but it really depends on how flexible your joints are. I was a little worried that there is no mesh back, but there is benefit to not having something squishy sinking into your back, and having solid material back there is just tougher. The shoulder straps are just padded enough and the waist strap just wide enough to lock you down and give support without being too noticeable. And the generic black look helps keep you stealth.

I have a huge collection of packs from boutique brands, but if I were ever stranded on a desert island this would be THE ONE.
Pros:
  • Lightweight
  • durable
  • well designed
Cons:
  • Expensive
Best Used for:
  • day hikes
  • peak bagging

Nice pack for day hike

by W., Verified Owner from OR, United States Written on September 21, 2017
cool looking, very light weight
black cuben poly hybrid fabric is rare and resist to dirt.
it can be used in both city and day hike
If it can be little more bigger in volume, I can use it in ultralight camping.
