These are great merino boy shorts. My only objection is that they are super high rise and therefore go above most of my jeans. Seems like this year’s version, with the argyle sides, is higher rise than my older ones.

I like that these underwear are made of wool. They are comfortable, durable, dry quickly and don't keep smell but I wish they were about an inch or two longer. While hiking they drift upwards and can irritate. With a little longer leg they would stay in place better and not rub the skin as much. I like the regular panties but on long hikes the elastic around the legs can irritate the skin also. Still looking for the perfect underwear.
