I tried many boot brands over the period of a few years to replace a pair that had more the flexibility of a tennis shoe but adequate support. I found most hiking boots to be unforgiving on my feet and I was miserable early into a hike. I found the Inov boot and decided to give them a try. Before I had even worn them, I handed them over to my daughter who was venturing out on a week long hike adventure in Peru and had no boots lined up. She found them to be a great boot and this was without even breaking them in. I turned around and ordered myself a second pair and have been very satisfied with how comfortable they are but supportive enough for my hiking treks. I have finally found the boot that works for me!! My son now has been in the same boat as I; and thus I recently have sent him a pair as well. I just find these boots to be extremely comfortable yet sturdy enough to handle a day's hike over all types of terrain.

I have owned the 320 gtx and the 325 gtx and beat them up pretty good so ordered these 345 gtx shoes. They require no break in period. So comfortable right out of the box. They have a much roomier toe box than previous versions but was perfect to put in my thick orthotics. The footbed that comes with these boots are not much better than a piece of cardboard so highly recommended putting in your own. Can't speak to the long term durability yet but these are so comfortable I just don't care. I had tried countless hiking boots with no success before I discovered Inov-8. Can't wait to hit the trails!
