The Jetboil Helios Guide system is the best cooking system for backpacking I have used. It is lightweight, efficient, and compact. We had four crews use these systems at Philmont last summer, and they worked great. Cooking water is heated very quickly and cleanup is easy.

Sure it's bigger than some, but that's why I like it. I can cook what ever I like when hiking as I'm not restricted by a small pot/cup. The design is very efficient using the gas canister upside down. The flame adjustment is delayed, but controllable all the same. I only take the 2L pot when hikinh by myself, but take the 3L when I'm hiking with more people. When turned up flatout, the output
