I bought these goggles because 1) they were super discounted (thanks campsaver!) and 2) they were photochromatic. I've only skied with them once, so I can only share my initial impression, but the lenses definitely kept my eyes protected by changing to the light intensity. Loved the size as they provided a great view/didn't block my view. My only complaint was that I didn't like the way the foam on the bottom half of my goggles sat on my face. In my opinion, it sits too close to my eyes and makes the goggles sit a little weird on my face. Obviously, this was minor enough for me to keep them, but something to consider if you can afford to spend more for a more comfortable fit.
