Comfortable right out of the box
I bought these in my usual size, 6.5, and have found them very comfortable. They provide good stable support and the sole prevents slipping and sliding on steep terrain. I like keens because they tend to have a wider toebox so good for a wider foot. I got no hotspots or blisters or sore areas with these boots.

A great shoe
I got them a week ago. I haven’t worn them backpacking yet. But, have been wearing them around town. Figured I needed to break them in. Noting to break in. The fit and feel great!! Can’t wait to wear them on the trails! Another thing about the shoes. It does have a wide toe box but, for me it’s great. I have bunions on both feet. So, it’s hard to find shoes that don’t squish my feet and make it painful. These are great for ones that need extra room. I have tried them out with both a regular sneaker sock and a think carhart sock and both times my foot was comfy and not squished, but yet not moving around either. It just fits perfect.
