Great product - Kelly Kettle Ultimate Scout Kit

I bought this for airplane camping as a solution to not having to carry fuel aboard my airplane, but be light weight, compact and safe in areas where open camp fires ill advised. This thing works great! Surprised how much compact heat can be generated from a small fire of twigs and pine cones. Only regret was ordering the scout instead of the large kettle. I was on the fence. Manufacturer web site said Scout good for two people. Larger kettle for families and groups. The scout with the plug in after boiling kept the water hot for much longer than I would have expected. The only problem I’ve had is keeping the plug and chain from getting dirty on the ground or too close to the fire pan when heating water.
