Most Helpful Positive Review Cosmic 20 Down Women's Sleeping Bag
I purchased this bag for my wife to replace an older synthetic Kelty due to its much smaller volume and better insulating properties especially when wet. While the bag is not the lightest smallest bag out there though it is excellent quality for the price. It packs small. The sizing is perfect on it. It specifies 5'8" as the max height and it seems to be spot on.

Great sleeping bag for the price.

by Tyson, from KS, United States Written on February 18, 2020
Really happy with this purchase. I got this bag for half the price of current retail through campsaver.com. Just used it last weekend and it is quality with excellent loft. Packs down fairly well and weighs 3lbs. I was warm in mid 30 degree temps.

Great fit for taller women!

by Jules, from NY, United States Written on February 9, 2020
If you’re looking for a women’s specific bag and are sick of finding a max height of 5’6”, this is the bag for you. This bag is recommended for up to 5’8” and it does not disappoint. Plenty of room for those on the taller side. I am 5’7” and I have plenty of space to side sleep. Can’t wait to take it out in the backcountry!
Pros:
  • Lightweight, small pack size
Cons:
  • Storage bag not included, 20% synthetic fill
Best Used for:
  • Budget backpacking, car camping, 3-seasons

Exceptional product!

by Sue, Verified Owner from BC, Canada Written on August 7, 2019
I am very impressed with the warmth and features of this women's specific bag. The fit is excellent for me (5 foot 5 inches, athletic build) and the zipper, stitching and overall quality are excellent. Down and loft are as described and yet highly compressable to a small and lightweight backpack size. Absolutely a great value and choice for overnighting while backpacking!
Pros:
  • light, warm, well designed and constructed
Cons:
  • none - very happy with my purchase!
Best Used for:
  • Backpacking

Kelty Cosmic 20

by Jslars, Verified Owner from UT, United States Written on July 30, 2019
I got this bag for such a good deal I couldn’t pass it up. I took it backpacking for the first time last week. The weather was cooler and probably went down into the low 40’s at night. The bag kept me pretty warm. I tend to get very cold easily, but it seemed to work pretty well. I’d be nervous to sleep in it if it was colder though. It’s perfect for what I need it for and pretty light weight for backpacking. Campsaver was an amazing website to order from. I was worried I wasn’t going to get the bag in time for my trip but the shipping was so fast. I will be ordering more from them in the future. There prices are so good!

Happy daughter

by Jay, from OR, United States Written on July 7, 2019
This bag is a huge value for money. Perfect for my daughter as she starts stepping a bit further out and in more various climates. Easy to pack down, plenty of double zips and a mummy style hood for both warm and cold weather. Winner. A+++

Excellent Budget Backpacking Sleeping Bag

by Kirsten, from WI, United States Written on June 25, 2019
For the price this bag surprised me with it's warmth and packability! I used it for the first time this past weekend during a relatively warm but rainy night on an island in lake michigan with backpack out only camping. I didn't need to zip it up all the way once to stay warm. In fact, using the bottom zip I kept one foot out of the bag and one foot in most of the night. The down rolls up nicely and easily into the stuff sack. My only complaint might be that it's not the best bag for side sleepers because the mummy shape is somewhat constricting. A sleeping pad helps. Otherwise, solid bag, especially if you would like a backpacking bag but can't afford one of the pricier models. Looking forward to bringing this to Iceland in early September!
Pros:
  • inexpensive, warm
Cons:
  • slightly constrictive if you're a side sleeper

I was warm!

by Kt, from WA, United States Written on August 15, 2018
I've never been warm camping before! I took this sleeping bag to a festival on the coast with my fingers crossed that it would work out....and it did! I never had trouble with the zipper and it warmed right up and allowed me to actually get some sleep in the cold (but not freezing) dampness.
Pros:
  • Light
  • warm
  • Easy to pack

  • None
