Bought this for 11 year old for extra warmth sleeping. He is use to blankets and did not want to use home blankets or comforter. This Cozy blanket has been perfect for this. Outdoor blanket, not afraid to get it damp, or place in directly on the ground. Cozy blanket, lightweight, compresses down well. Had to take it away from him when not camping.

I travel a LOT. And not just casually and comfortably traveling through airports, I'm talking barebones aircraft with jump seats and waiting for a flight on a cold sidewalk like it's Black Friday. So hear me when I say...THIS BLANKET IS AWESOME. It's extra long for those wanderers who tower over my 5'4" stature, and for those of us who are on the petite side, it can even fold completely over you in a pinch. This blanket has an incredibly warm and soft brushed poly fabric which is protected on the outside by a lightweight wind-resistant fabric. Which makes it excellent for cutting the chill whether you're by the campfire on a fall evening or on the couch toughing it out because your spouse says it's not time to turn on the heat yet...in November. We own 2 of these and I added snaps on each (long) side of the blanket so that they could be snapped together to make a larger blanket, or...what I do more often...to snap the sides of my blanket together toward the bottom, so that I have a little foot sleeping bag. This blanket can be jammed into a stuff sack (I think I have a 2L or 3L sack that I've crammed it into). All in all, BUY IT. You'll never find a better blanket for the money.

Got the Natl Parks patch and the wood print one. The parks patch one is really cool and will be nice blankets to throw in the tent when car camping for our little guy or to use as a doormat under the tent vestibule.

Great sitting around the fire blanket. Better quality than other comparable blankets. Not a substitution for a sleeping blanket for adults, great for kids. Shipping was fast. I have never been let down by campsaver, always to the rescue!

After reading reviews with many people say they bought more for gifts after receiving it, that will be me also. This blanket is very nice! I can’t speak on its durability yet but does feel like it will hold up for years or camping.

For me, the Bestie Blanket, combined with an inflatable sleeping pad or a hammock, is all I need for my summer camping adventures. Just the right amount of insulation to remain comfortable on mild summer nights. Color options are a bit odd, but color doesn't effect my sleep, so no worries.

The blanket is exactly as advertised per the description of the outer & inner materials but the statement that 'Soft-brushed fabrics on both sides" is wrong as the outer is a polyester taffeta, which I knew was not soft. Campsaver should update the description.
My disappointment with the blanket is the color. I ordered Infinite Mountain/Deep lake which by the pictures on campsaver, the pictures on the Kelty website, & in Kelty videos all clearly show it as a blue outside with dark red inside. In reality the outside is more of a dark forest green with a slight bluish hue and the inside is a burgundy red. I would probably return as I was going for a particular look that required blue.

We use these daily and love the beastie blanket. Far better and more function for daily use and travel than a sleeping bag. The stuff sack makes it compact. The colors are great and let’s each person pick what they like for easy identification.

We rented a camper that came with similar blankets. They slid off our bed multiple times a night. I bought these due to the description of "soft brushed" thinking they had some sort of material that had a texture that would grip a little. NOPE, same slippery nylon like material. Works in a mummy bag situation but not for beds. Now I gotta figure out if these are returnable. Silly me bought 3!

I give this to my wife to keep in the car for cold nights at the kids soccer games. Perfect! Light and warm. I already used it and also one of my kids. I'll be ordering the XL soon.this is my last review. I don't think a review must be 200 characters long for such a simple product and it's mandatory to live a review....
