Great Tent

Bought this for my son and I to start hiking the Long Trail (plus dog). Sets up in minutes. Weighs very little, even with footprint attached. Always pleased with Kelty products.

gunnison 2.2 review

This is a review of the Gunnison 2.2 tent.

So far I have used it 2 times and can't imagine a tent that is easier and quicker to set up. It takes me about 10 minutes to set up. I imagine it would take half the time with 2 people. I've used it in a light rain and temps in the upper 40s. Initially there was a little condensation, but after being set up and allowed to vent for about an hour the c

Great Tent For Backpack Camping

I purchased the Kelty Gunnison 2.2 after seeing it in person. It is well made and sets up easy. Went Hiking on the Long Trail with my son and we had plenty of room. It rained the first night and we stayed Dry! I'm Pretty Happy with this Product.

Good tent

I used it for four days of camping on islands on the lower Wisconsin river. I got one night of hard rain and another with on and off sprinkles. No leaks, no condensation. Sets up fast, kept all my gear in the tent and my dirty shoes in the vestibule. Plenty of room, easy teardown. I'm pleased with it. I wouldn't really call it lightweight and I wouldn't take it on a three week backpacking trip but

Lightweight, easy setup, good quality

Used this on an elk hunting trip, and it served well as a 1-person tent. Temps were in the 20's F at night, with a little rain. Adequate ventilation kept the condensation at bay. Easy setup - had to do it at night in the dark with minimal light. Good-sized vestibule under the fly kept muddy boots and gear dry outside the tent. Great tent overall!

A roomy 2 person!

A true 2 person tent but so far I have used it just for myself. Took the tent to the swamp and had plenty of room and the wife could of joined me with our small dog. I really like the doors on each side and a very roomy vestibule at each door. Needed something at night I simply rolled over , unzipped, got what I needed and zipped it back up. Very happy with the rain fly and the air flow. Side poc
