Great cover. Fits my Kelty Coyote 80 with room to spare, and even fits my Kelty Super Tioga external frame pack with ease. Has a built in mesh stash pouch the cover folds into when not in use, and so you don't lose the pouch when panicking to get the cover on in a storm. Thanks Kelty and Campsaver once again for the outstanding quality and service. Cheers

I don't have a Kelty pack but I have an old fashioned external frame pack that is about 30 years old. Fits fine. Haven't had a chance to use it but living in the Pacific NW I suspect I will.

Lots of uses outside of a rain cover. Can be used as a sit-upon, a placemat, extra cover for arms/body in cold weather while sleeping, as a clothes stuff sack with a mini rope, etc. When backpacking, you must justify the load. Thus, be creative and make things multipurpose. Have a couple of these already and purchased another. I like this one best due to the elastic around the rim.

I wasn't expecting the "built in" storage bag so when I opened the box my first thought was "why the added weight" (ok, maybe an oz or two). In actual use the self contained bagged worked without issue, didn't get in the way, and made it easy to quickly get it out and just as important, store it away again. We did get some heavy rain on my recent trip and it kept my Kelty pack dry, even overnight

Cover protected my backpack for 9 days on top of a motorcycle from plains to mountains, across 2300 miles cross-country and through the elements. It even protected my back-pack when my motorcycle spilled, albeit with a few holes and scuffs, which were easily repaired with a tenacious tape. Good kit.

Son and I just returned from Philmont trek in New Mexico. Had a unusually large amount of rain on our trek and the covers worked perfectly on our Kelty packs. Only wish it had a strap or lanyard to attach it to pack when not in use instead of having to find a pocket for it.
