Daniel A.'s Review of Kelty Redwing 50 Pack
I've worn the Kelty Redwing 50 to hike across France on the GR65 trail and a Kelty Redwing 44 to hike across Spain on the Camino del Norte plus the Camino Primitivo. These are comfortable, practical and affordable packs. I can say so after walking in excess of 1,800 kilometres with them on my back where the pack and gear weighed between 19 to 26 pounds depending on how much food and water was aboard. Nothing failed and they are still in excellent shape. I recently bought the Kelty Redwing 5p new design to take advantage of its fully adjustable features. BTW the slip through feature that is behind the side pouches is great for hiking poles and tentertainment poles where these do not get caught up anywhere when you set the pack down or on public transit. The side pouches are great for collapsible water containers if you need to carry that extra litre when you have to. The are truly great packs.
