I've taken this pack on two weekend long trips with about 25lbs of gear and food in the pack and it was very comfortable. At just over 4 pounds the pack isn't particularly light but I feel that the range of adjustment available in the suspension system and lumbar support, zippered access to the sleeping bag compartment, and external hydration sleeve make up for the weight. I have a 1.5lb quilt that goes in a stuff sack that is 17" long and it is a tight squeeze to fit it into the sleeping bag compartment; this tends to push the sides of the pack out towards the side pockets but a water bottle still fits in each side pocket. Overall I am very happy with the quality of the zippers, fabric, hip belt pockets, and quality of construction.
