Great tent! - Kelty Salida 1 Tent - 1 Person-3 Season

I love this tent...it's the bomb. I bought it for the John Muir Trail this summer and it was perfect. I think it's the perfect 1-person tent. It is super-easy and goes up and down fast. Love the twist clamps ~ they're so great! The door is a good size and the zipper worked well and never gave me any problems. I'm 5'4" 115lb-ish and there was plenty of room for me and my pack and stuff. I think it would be fine for someone bigger than myself. The rain fly fits well & the zipper worked well on that, too. Everything about this tent is easy, uncomplicated and good quality. The vestibule is a decent size for a 1-person. It was fine for my boots, stove & water filter. Inside the tent there are loops at all the top corners which were perfect to use with a baby-bungee for hanging socks, bandana or whatever, and there are a couple of small pockets also. I also happened to like that the tent is not an obnoxious color. My only comment for improvement would be that the bag is kind of a weird shape for the tent once it's rolled up. Realistically, the tent is going to be rolled into a roll to carry in/on a backpack, not folded into a rectangle shape like the bag. I would definitely recommend this tent.
